Theft on campus
Three thefts have already been reported this week. As you heard in your MasterPlan sessions, theft is the most common crime reported on campus!
- Make sure you lock your door at all times - even when just leaving for a minute (for the bathroom, kitchen, or going down the hall)
- Do not loan out your key even to your best friend
- Report lost keys to the front desk
- Hide valuables out of plain view
- Avoid keeping cash in your room
- Text books can be stolen and sold back at semester--guard them closely
- Don't leave 'away' messages on your room door
- Use the Escort Service at night (745-3333)
